Is it possible to link quickbooks online with Stripe?

My coaching software uses Stripe to collect payments.  I'd like to funnel those into quickbooks online.  Is it possible?  If so, how?

Thanks for reaching out to us about syncing Stripe transactions in QuickBooks Online, @BZR. I'm here to provide guidance and detailed information to assist you with this integration.

For now, there's no option to directly connect Stripe and QBO. However, you can use third-party integration apps to bridge the two platforms.

Follow these steps on how to look for an accredited app that'll connect Stripe and QBO:

  1. Go to the Apps menu on the left navigation bar and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
  2. Search for the app you wish to connect to in the magnifying glass bar or select the Browse category ▼ to search for an app by category.
  3. Select the App you wish to download
  4. Click Get App Now.
  5. Authorize the app to connect to your QBO.
  6. Follow the remaining steps to connect and set up the app settings of your choice.

You can manage all third-party app connections in the My Apps tab.

Allow me to share additional resources related to managing third-party app integrations within QBO:

@BZR

Do you need to only reconcile Stripe transactions into QBO and send invoices from QBO with Stripe as the payment processor? Either way, you'll need a third-party solution.

Yes, it’s definitely possible to link Stripe with QuickBooks Online — I had a similar setup for my coaching biz and wanted the same thing.

At first, I tried the built-in connection, but it only synced payouts, not individual sales or fees, which made my income look off in QuickBooks. It also didn’t show who paid for what — super frustrating.

I switched to Synder and it’s worked perfectly.

It pulls in:

  • Every Stripe transaction (sales, fees, refunds)

  • Client details and descriptions

  • Everything gets synced into QBO automatically and accurately

You just:

  1. Sign up for Synder

  2. Connect your Stripe account

  3. Connect QuickBooks Online

  4. Choose your sync settings (you can do detailed transactions or daily summaries)

That’s it — now I don’t touch anything manually and my books are clean. If you’re running payments through Stripe, Synder is 100% worth it.
