Is it possible to use QuickBook Online on Desktop without internet and then connect later

An internet connection is a must to run QB Online. You can prepare your data in XLS and utilize an importer tool whenever the internet connection is available.

CJR, thank you for your reply.

 

Would you please let us know if QB Desktop can be used without an internet connection once it is installed.

 

I have used QB Desktop away from my office an have had it cease working if I did not allow it to connect to the internet. I have heard others in very remote locations say the same thing. And I had a client in the Middle East that kept their accounting software on a separate network entirely off the internet for security reason.

 

How do we turn off the requirement for QB Desktop to periodically go on to the internet to do whatever it is doing so that the software remains functional?
