Welcome to the Community, @jamie2001. I can share some information and guidelines about voiding 1099 reports.

If your Form 1099 has been rejected by the IRS, we can resubmit this after voiding and updating this with the correct details. To proceed, let’s go to the 1099 filings tab, and select Void forms. This will void all forms that have been rejected.

However, it's not possible to undo or void them if you have already successfully submitted them electronically. In the event that you need to make any corrections to your filing, you will have to directly work with the IRS to amend or correct your 1099 forms.

To ensure that you have the correct information on how to correct a 1099 form that has already been e-filed, it is imperative that you refer to the IRS publication provided in the following link: General Instructions for Certain Information Returns

While we currently don't have correction forms for 1099. You'll need to manually handle any errors to a recipient's 1099 form that has already been reported:

  • Provide the recipient with a corrected form.
  • Prepare and file the applicable corrected forms to the IRS and state tax agency.

Kindly note that I am available to assist you with any further help you may need regarding form filing. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am always ready to lend a hand. Best regards!
