Is there a fix for the double refresh error in the QBO app when you open a new tab??

Whenever I open a new tab in the QBO app for windows, it loads my home dashboard, but then starts a reload process for the dashboard over again.  Usually I've clicked on a task, and the reload interrupts it and reloads the dashboard.  I'd say on average it wastes about 30 seconds from when I've clicked on a link/task from the initial load, then have to wait for it to reload before I can do the task I'd like.  It's definitely not an internet connectivity issue as we are on a 500Gbps connection, and new tabs load just fine in the QBO web browser.  But it's a very irritating bug in the QBO app, that has made me abandon the app altogether and just use the web browser version, as I like to work in more than one tab at a time, and each new tab double loads and takes 30s to 1 minute to load.  This seems like it should be a simple glitch for QBO to fix.

  1. Navigate to the Help menu.

  3. Once done, close and re-open your QBO desktop app.

 

If the interruption continues, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your computer.
