Is there an option to take a picture of receipts and upload to QB Desktop?

That was probably the one thing I liked about QBO. Is there an option to do this on Desktop or no? Not a big deal if not, just wondering.

You can upload PDFs and take images of your receipt in QuickBooks desktop (QBDT), Windy.

For capturing pictures of receipts, you'll have to download our QuickBooks Desktop for Android and iOS. Once done, you can upload them by following these steps:

For iOS:

  1. From the QBDT app, log in to your Intuit Account and select the company to upload receipts.
  2. Hit the company to upload receipts, then tap Continue.
  3. Click Capture Receipt, then tap the Camera icon to take a picture of the receipt.
  4. You may also click the Photos icon to upload your receipt.
  5. Tap Use this photo.
  6. Enter a Name and Memo, then hit Upload photo. Click OK.
  7. Sign in to your QBDT company file to review, edit, and match receipts to transactions.

For Android:

  1.  Open the QuickBooks Desktop Android app.
  2.  Tap Receipt Snap.
  3. Click the company to upload receipts, then tap Continue.
  4. Refer to steps 3-7 above to proceed and complete the process.
