Question

Is there anyway in QB Mac Desktop to export or download all of a customer's shipping addresses?

Is there anyway to export all shipping addresses associated with a customer? We have several customers with multiple shipping addresses. The Customer Contact List report only exports the Default shipping address. Same with exporting the Customer IIF list. How can I export all associated shipping addresses? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi there, @Scooter27.

I can share some steps on exporting or downloading all customers' shipping addresses in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the File menu at the top.
  2. Select Export.
  3. Choose Addresses to Text File.
  4. Select All customers/jobs.
  5. Click OK.

For more details about the process, see this article: Exporting contact info for Mail Merge. It also contains a video tutorial for your visual reference.

Thank you for the quick reply. This solution only exports the default shipping address, not the other shipping addresses associated with a customer. I have a customer with four shipping addresses. Exporting Addresses to Text File has the billing address and the default shipping address, it does not have all four shipping addresses.

Thanks again. 😃

Thank you for sharing additional details, Scooter27. I know a workaround to help you obtain the other shipping addresses associated with the customer.

The default shipping address is indeed the only one that QuickBooks can export. However, pulling up the Customer Contact List report and customizing it helps add additional address columns to get the data needed. Once done, Export it to Excel. I'll lay out the steps on how to do it:

  1. From the Reports menu, select Customers & Receivables.
  2. Choose Customer Contact List.
  3. Click on Customize Report.
  4. In the Display tab, type ship, then checkmark Ship to 2, 3, and 4.
  5. Tap OK.
  6. Click the Excel dropdown and choose to Create New Worksheet.
  7. Hit Export.
