File no found...

I moved my QB to another computer and restored my backups but can pull up the original PDF that were attached to my postings, see below. I can open the ATTACH drop-down screen and see the description of the PDF attachment but get the "File not found" error message when I try to open/double click the PDF...

More technical that knowing where to post a debit or credit - hope there's a techie out there who can help.

Thanks!

Hello, Retir-Ed

I'm here to help address and resolve any concerns you have regarding attachments, ensuring everything is sorted out.

I agree with @4Gal's recommendation to move the Attachment Document folder manually. Moving the Attachment Document folder in QuickBooks Desktop manually involves relocating the folder containing all attached documents to a new location. Refer to this article: QuickBooks Document Center: FAQs and common issues.

In addition, always make sure to back up your company file and the attachment document folder before making any changes. This ensures that your data is protected in case of any unexpected issues during the relocation process.

Get back to us if you have further questions about managing your attachment concerns. I'll be here to assist.
