Job Name in custom transaction report

Hi,

 

I cannot add the job name or job title in the columns when I run a report.

 

Can I run a report by job name? Instead of customer name:job name combined? 

Is there a way to have a custom field automatically pull from the job name?

Hello there, B.

 

The option to add a column to display the job name alone or filter it by the job's name is unavailable. You can run a QuickReport for the job to only show transactions under it. 

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Customers menu and select Customer Center.
  2. Click on the job.
  3. At the right-most portion of the report, under the Reports for this Job section, select QuickReport.

I am surprised this is not an option.  It would make the reports a lot more user friendly to have the job names listed in custom reports.  Now I have to have someone enter a lot of data into spread sheets to get the information I want.  The QB team needs to get this feature added asap.
