Hello!

How to list all Inventory Adjustments in QuickBooks Desktop? I need to fetch the same list as returns from this web connector request but in the QuickBooks interface. Thank you

I can definitely help you with that, Marat.

We can create a Custom Transaction Detail Report to show/list all the inventory adjustments you've made for a certain period of time. Let me guide how:

  1. Select Reports from the top menu bar.
  2. Go to Custom Reports.
  3. Choose Transaction Detail.
  4. From the Display tab, set the appropriate report date.
  5. Click the Filters tab, then select Transaction Type from the Filter menu.
  6. From the Transaction Type drop-down menu, select Inventory Adjustment.
  7. Hit OK when you're done.

Additionally, here are some articles that you can read to help efficiently track inventory in QuickBooks Desktop:

How inventory Adjustments is related to the Adjustment account?

What can cause the error "Account reference not found for <name of Adjustment account>"

Thanks for getting back to us, Marat.

When you adjust an inventory in QuickBooks, you'll need to create an adjustment account to track the changes. You can resolve this error by adding an account by following these steps:

  1. Go to Company > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the Account ▼ drop-down located at the bottom, and select New.
  3. In the Add New Account window, select Cost of Goods Sold from the Other Account Types drop-down list.
  4. Enter the Account Name as “Inventory Adjustments”, and then Save and Close.

Please see this sample screenshot for a visual guide:

Once done, try to adjust the inventory again. You can check out this article for more information: Adjust your inventory quantity or value in QuickBooks Desktop.
