Logo on invoices printing incorrectly

I've added our logo to our invoices, and it was working fine in the past.  For some reason now it cuts off the last 2 letters of the company name and the second line when we actually print/pdf it.  The print preview shows the full logo.  I've attached what it looks like, has any one else experienced this?

Hello there, @jasonagosti!

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so we can check if the incorrect printing of your logo on invoices is related to your printer or not.

To begin with, we can utilize your notepad to check if it prints fine with any file outside of QuickBooks.

  1. Go to Start.
  2. Select Notepad.
  3. Enter some text.
  4. Choose File.
  5. Click Print.

If these steps didn't work, you'll have to turn off your printer and restart your computer. If otherwise, you can utilize the Print & PDF Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool hub. This fixes most of the common printing issues in QuickBooks.

In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about some printing troubleshooting steps: Learn how to resolve printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

Lastly, I've got you these helpful articles for ideas about how you can manage all your customers and sales transactions: Income and Expenses for QuickBooks Desktop.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand.

I have the same problem as others, large logo, not fully printing;

latest update

run print and pdf fix from qb hub

printing fine on notepad

email PDF's look correct

adjusted margins in layout designer from .5 to .25 all the way around

If I email myself the file, the PDF then prints fine with no logo distortion

Yes, I tried the QB Tool Hub and it didn't work.

Let's get it printing correctly, Canlady441.

Aside from the tool hub, you can check another article provided by JonpriL at the top. It will provide you different ways to troubleshoot printing issues.

If you're still encountering the same issue, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support. An agent has more tools to fix it. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks.
  2. Go to QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter "Invoice logo printing incorrectly" in the description field, then click Continue.
  5. Select either Message an Agent or Talk to a Specialist

Don't hesitate to click the Reply button if you have other concerns. We're open 24/7 to help you.

Did you ever get this working correctly where your logo prints in its entirety without getting cut off?  If so, can you share the steps to fix it? The Tool Hub did nothing and every other suggestion online has not fixed the problem.  It had been working correctly before. It is beyond frustrating and looks so unprofessional!

Hey Frustrationgalore,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. Since you have used the Tool Hub troubleshooting steps and other suggestions, it would be best to contact our Support Team to examine the matter more. They have the tools to pull up a share screen and see exactly what you're seeing and make adjustments. Here's how to contact us:

  1. Go to the Help menu, then click Quickbooks Desktop Help or press the F1 key.
  2. Hit the Contact Us button, as seen in the display.
  3. Enter a brief description of the problem.
  4. Select Continue.
  5. Choose which method you would like to connect. The options will be chat or our call-back feature.

Please let me know how the conversation goes and if there is anything else I can help you with. I'll be around. Take care and be safe.

I'm having issues. This just started happening a week or two ago. When I print any quick-book invoice. Ours or someone else's. The company logo print huge in the spaced allowed. So only a fraction get printed. Everything looks find on the PDF before print but somehow the print comes out all messed up.

I tried to download the quickbook tool hub as another QB form suggested, however it is not supported by mac. Very frustrating that years of using QB and all of a sudden this happens.

Hello there, @chelsea15. I appreciate you sharing updates about the steps you've performed as well as the results. I can see how difficult this has been. That's why I'm here to provide additional steps so you'll be able to print the logo of your invoice correctly in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.

To begin, let's first make sure that your program is updated to the latest release to prevent issues and to have the recent components and fixes. Once done, let's now configure the margin of your invoice form to fix the width. To do so, please follow the steps outlined by my colleague, ChristieAnn above.

I've also added this article for additional steps in fixing printing issues in QBDT for Mac: Troubleshoot printing in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Additionally, customizing your sales form templates in QBDT Mac is a breeze. Doing this process will let you add specific details and make the form personalize to reflect more of your business identity.

Let me know how the steps work. I'd be glad to hear any updates about this. If you have further questions about managing invoices in QuickBooks, please don't hesitate to post again here. I'm always willing to lend a hand to ensure your success. Have a great week ahead.
