Looking for a technical QB consultant to help get QB 2016 desktop for Mac running again

I have a 3 user license for QB 2016 desktop for Mac. Two of our computers died. I need to get QB running on 3 machines. It currently is running on only one machine. Is there anyone that can help get the existing application running without purchasing a newer system?

Did you purchase 2 new machines to replace the broken ones? Which MacOS do you run on new machines?

We purchased used machines with Mojave OS so we can run QB 2016, but we cannot get them running yet.

Hi there, @Wizard3. Let me share information about which operating system works in your QBDT MAC 2016. 

 

QuickBooks for Mac 2016 only supports Mac OS X v10.14 (Mojave), 10.13 (High Sierra), Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan), and Mac OS X v10.12 (Sierra). You'll want to check this article to learn the user's guide:  QuickBooks for Mac 2016 User’s Guide.

 

We can check an operating system that supports your version online. This way, your QBDT Mac 2016 will fit with the MAC operating system that should be used. Furthermore, for the installer, you may search online that also supports the version that you have. 

 

If you're interested, you can take advantage of the 30-day trial of QuickBooks Mac 2021. However, before installing the trial version, it's important to make sure that your system meets the necessary configurations to run QuickBooks smoothly. Once you've confirmed that your system meets the requirements, you can proceed with installing the latest trial version of QuickBooks Mac.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to this link: Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select QuickBooks Mac 2021.


     
  3. Open the QuickBooks.exe file you downloaded.
  4. Close all running applications.
  5. Double-click the downloaded installer The QuickBooks installation window opens automatically.
  6. Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Applications folder. The Applications folder opens automatically.
  7. Double-click the QuickBooks icon to open the application.
