Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @zoe478! We're glad to see you posting here. As you've reached the QuickBooks support team, let me highlight our ways on how we help you handle and manage your taxes using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

QuickBooks efficiently tracks your payment due dates in one convenient location, helping you avoid late returns and additional fees. When it's time to file, you can review your owed amounts to ensure accuracy and use the updated QuickBooks data to complete your sales tax form. After filing, record your new sales tax payment in QuickBooks to keep your sales tax payable current. In QBDT, you can file and pay your tax return electronically.

Please note that QuickBooks does not support amended sales or use tax reporting. It's advisable to consult with the relevant U.S. tax agency for the latest guidance on amending a sale or use tax return in your area.

You can consider trying QBDT Enterprise and QBDT Accountant when managing your taxes, as we can also assist you further with any of your tax queries.
