Manufacturer's Part Number

Let's fix why the Manufacturer's Part Number field is missing.

There are times that an issue like this occurs when there's damaged data in the system. With that, we'll have to perform the verify and rebuild steps to resolve the said issue.

Here's how to verify:

1. Click the File menu.
2. From Utilities, select Verify Data.

If you see a specific error message, you can search for it on our QuickBooks Desktop support site for how to fix it. If the system prompts you with Your data has lost integrity, you'll have to rebuild the program. You can follow the steps below.

1. Click the File menu.
2. Select Rebuild Data from Utilities.
3. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before it rebuilds your company file. 
4. Select where you want to save your backup, then OK.
5. Select OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
