Migration between online instances.

I am trying to migrate from one online instance to another.  There doesn't seem to be a clean option for this.  I have exported my data from the existing instance but to import in the new instance is proving difficult.  Anyone successfully done this?

You can purchase a 3rd party migration service or use a migration tool.

From what I'm getting, you're moving data from one QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to another. Let me share information about it.

 

While direct data transfer isn't possible, I agree with Fiat Lux ASIA's suggestion of using a third-party app. However, you can manually move lists like customer and vendor names, accounts, and sales items.

 

To find a third-party app, lick the Apps menu in the left navigation bar and use keywords about migration.

 

For transferring your lists, follow the step-by-step instructions in this article: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.

 

Regarding your transactions, you have the option to connect your account to download the latest transactions and manually upload those not included in the download process.
