migration from QB POS to Shopify POS - SCREWED UP MY QB DESKTOP DATA
When I tried migrating from QB POS to Shopify POS about 6+ months ago, my data got all screwed up. All of my items in my item list were duplicated and we had to manually go through and remove the rogue entries; but it also screwed up my customer list. It took all of the company information out of the CUSTOMERS section; and instead put the contact name in that space. Now, if I try to start a new proposal, I can no longer type in the company name and have it auto fill like it used to.
I've been trying to find an easy way to go through and fix this problem. I thought I finally found a solution today, by using the Add/ Edit Multiple List Entries. I customized the columns to include the Customer Names, but for some reason (other than QB HATES MY GUTS!), that the fields in this column are greyed out, and won't let me change the data. I've already spent more than 10 hours editing my customer list, and I'm only through the letter 'C'. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
