Mileage gone missing

I had another user on my account that entered mileage/trips for the 2024 tax year. I deleted that user and now I don't see any mileage in the Primary Admin account. Other things that user did like invoices, bills, etc, are there. But the mileage is all gone. I looked in the audit log but I don't even see Trips or Mileage listed there anywhere. I do see that user's other actions. Any ideas?

I appreciate the detailed information you've provided regarding your concern, and I'm here to help you with this, JD.

Beforehand, please know that the Audit log doesn't display mileage transactions. It primarily captures every account activity related to user sign-ins, changes to QuickBooks settings, edits to customers, vendors, employees' profiles or entries, and payroll submissions only.

Meanwhile, if you want to review your Mileage data for a certain period, you'll need to modify the Tax Year accordingly. To do so, open the Mileage page from the Expenses tab. Then, set the Tax Year for 2024.

If your trips still doesn't show up after selecting 2024 as the Tax Year, you can coordinate with the previous user who entered those entries. You can verify how they've recorded the year 2024's mileage.

Once they've confirmed that the trips were recorded accurately yet, they're missing from the Mileage page, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team. They can review your account in a safe environment, ensuring the root cause of the issue gets investigated and resolved consequently.

Additionally, you may automatically track your mileage in QuickBooks. You can benefit significantly from this feature if you often travel for business-related purposes.
