Hi Hans! Let’s walk through some basic troubleshooting steps to help you successfully enter your favorite locations in the Mileage tab. I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

There are times that the browser you’re using can cause issues with QuickBooks Online. Using incognito mode or a private window can help us access your account smoothly. Here’s how to do it:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari).
  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Edge)

Once you’re logged in, you can add your home address as a favorite by following these steps:

  1. From the Mileage tab, click the dropdown arrow beside the Add Trip button.
  2. Choose Manage favorite locations.
  3. Click Add favorite location.
  4. Enter the Address and Name.
  5. Click Save.

If you continue to experience issues, try switching to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. Sometimes, the browser you’re currently using may have temporary issues with QuickBooks, and using a different one can help you get back to work quickly.
