Thanks:

When I attempt to import missing data (1 JAN 2024 - 15 FEB 2024) from my initial Link Accounts transfer, many dates show a " ! " error after import.

Error Message: "We can’t upload everything from your file. Some info may be missing from your file. Double-check that your file is complete and try uploading again."

Remedial steps taken:

- I have scrubbed/sanitized the data.
- I'm importing about 35 records of dates, descriptions, and amounts from an Excel-generated CSV file - both attempted: 1) CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (.csv) 2) Comma Separated values (.csv)

Question:
Can I amend an EXPORTED .csv file from QBO with the missing data and re-import an amended file back into QBO? If so, are there any known landmines for doing that?

You've come to the right place for assistance with all things QuickBooks. I'm happy to provide some info about importing the .csv file to your QuickBooks Online account.

To answer your question, yes, you can re-import an amended .csv file back into QuickBooks Online. Anything that is (re)imported will replace the previously entered data. I recommend checking and double-checking the formatting before uploading to avoid any hold ups.

The following articles provide additional info about this process:
