If I manually upload a csv file to add missing transactions will they automatically go in date order?

I'm here to provide some info about manually uploading transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

To answer your question, the transactions will be uploaded according to the date listed on the .CSV. For example, if you manually upload a transaction dated 9/14/23 via .CSV, it will be sent to the For Review section and will then appear between transactions for 9/13/23 and 9/15/23 that are already in the register once it is approved.
