Moving a company from one license to another license on a different computer

I do books and have a license for desktop on one computer.  I also do books for another client on a different computer with a different license.  Is there a way to get these combined under one license and same computer?  Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Community space, @SK523. Allow me to share some insight on combining the two companies into one license.

If you want to move the company file to another license from a different computer, you need to back up the file, move it to the second computer, and then restore it.

If you want to merge two companies from one license from another computer to another license from a different computer, you need to use a 3rd party application.

Alternatively, you can also manually transfer data from one computer to the second one.

Additionally, you can refer to this article on migrating your files: Move your company files to another computer.

Thank you.  I did the save to USB then put it in other computer under the other license and did a restore.  So I can just let the license run out that it was under before right?

You need to contact Support and ask them to merge the license. Otherwise, you can purchase a new license of QB Desktop 2024 for 2 users and cancel your current subscriptions.
