Moving everything except the transactions from online company a to online company b

I have QB Advanced Online company A that has 78,000 transactions that were backed up last night.  I signed up for a second QB Advanced Online company B and now only want all my lists, chart of accounts, saved reports but I want all accounts to start from 0.  No transactions, just the template ready to start adding new bills, payments, etc.  Thank you.

Let me assist you in moving your List and Charts of Accounts, @Ronda L.

 

Since you don't want to include your transactions when moving, we don't need to restore a backup. We can export and import your lists and Chart of Accounts into your new company. However, for the saved custom report and sales form template, you will need to recreate them in your new company.

 

In exporting your list, you can follow these steps: 

  1. Sign in to the account that has your lists.
  2. Go to Reports.
  3. Depending on which list you need to export, search for and run Account ListCustomer Contact ListVendor Contact List, or Product/Service List report.
