Multi Monitor Support: Unsupported Display Arrangement

QuickBooks states on its website that the multi-monitor setup can only be used with 100% scaling. Why is there not the option to use scaling? Why cant screens be opened up on different monitors so that the program can be utilized across additional screens with the ability to have different resolutions? It seems that so many other programs have this ability, yet for the high cost of ownership, the QuickBooks Desktop program has yet to catch up with the other programs that are out there.  

 

Intuit, when might this seemingly simple and hugely helpful feature be available from the QuickBooks Desktop Program?

Currently, the option to edit the scaling feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) has not yet been implemented, Dastepher1. I will share additional information on this.

 

I understand how essential this feature is for you to run your business smoothly. Currently, there is no update in QBDT regarding the option to edit the scaling feature. However, let’s seize this opportunity to submit feedback that can help enhance our product. I’m here to guide you through the steps to share your feedback with our engineering team.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks company file.
  2. Click on the Help menu.
  3. Select the Send Feedback Online option.
  4. Choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  5. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  6. Then hit on the Send Feedback button.

 

Furthermore, if you encounter windows or dialog boxes appearing on a different monitor, you can simply move them to the screen where you want them to go.
