How do I go back to Home Currency US Dollar? I've set up multiple currencies preferences for adding UY Peso as foreign currency as an additional currency to record some transactions, but I set it as Home Currency by mistake.

You can purchase a 3rd party service to disable the multi currency setting. But I'm not sure if they can return the currency to USD.
Thanks for returning to this thread, AraceliV. Let me add more information about Multicurrency and help you delete your company file in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
As my colleague mentioned, once the Multicurrency feature is enabled, it can't be disabled. It works as intended because the currency conversion information needs to be included in the system moving forward. Please note that there's no particular way to reverse this and their affected data.
That said, if you have a backup copy of your company file before Multicurrency was enabled, we can restore the file and access your data using the said backup.
However, since the feature has already been turned on for the past six years, there are some transactions that you'll have to re-enter after the backup restoration.
On the other hand, we can delete a company file in QBDT. Yet, before proceeding with the deletion, I recommend saving a backup copy of your company file that you can restore and access afterward.
Moreover, your company file comes with an extension type. We need to unhide the file extension before it will appear in your device folder and then delete it. To proceed, kindly follow the steps below:
