Thanks for providing the error message, gabriel. We'll share some insights about your bank connectivity concern. We can provide you with some troubleshooting steps so you can reconnect your bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO) as soon as possible.

When a user encounters problems with QBO that appear to be browser-related, we recommend that they clean their cache. Temporary internet files increase loading performance, but too much can build up and cause operations to slow down. We recommend doing this on a private or incognito browser. Use these shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

However, if the issue persists, we'd like to know the name of your financial institution and its specific error message. That way, we can check if there's an ongoing issue that keeps you from getting disconnected and unable to reconnect your bank.

If everything is all good, you may check out some articles below for future reference:

@gabrielalfaro32-

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

I found the fix FINALLY! You have to contact your bank and make sure you have the option to allow a connection to a 3rd party financial planning tool turned on. I have HUNTINGTON BANK. Called customer service and they had me sign on using the web version. There was a setting in my profile to allow my account to connect. It doesn’t unlink anymore.

It’s weird though because I’ve had my account connected to other stuff for like ever.
