Hello there, @hockettdockett. I've got here steps to ensure you'll be able to fix the integration between Google Calendar and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Possible that this may be a cache-related issue in your browser. It is one of its components that speeds up the loading process when accessing websites. However, there are times that it gets corrupted causing unexpected behaviors.

To confirm that this is the case, we can start by opening your QBO account in incognito mode. This is a private browser that doesn't store cache and will give you a clean slate to avoid issues. Below are the shortcut keys that you can use:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Once signed in, click the calendar again to find the events. If you're able to do so, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser to eliminate damaged files. If the same thing happens, I suggest using another supported browser or device to open your account.

However, if none of the steps works, I highly suggest contacting the Google Calendar support team. This way, they can further investigate what causes the events to disappear and will provide you with another set of troubleshooting steps to resolve it.

Additionally, here's a helpful resource that you can open to help modify your sales forms like invoices. To get started, check out this link: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please get back here in this thread if you have any follow-ups about fixing the integration of the two programs. I'd also appreciate it if you can add updates on how the recommendation goes. I'm just around the corner and ready to help whenever needed. Have a good one and take care.

No luck with this fix. Multiple users and computers impacted. Is this being prioritised? Sorry it is an urgent one for us

Hi there, @matt82au.

I understand how time consuming it is when something isn’t working the way you need it. I'd like to help you figure out what's causing the sudden integration issues between Google Calendar and QuickBooks.

I’ve checked our resources and verified there are open cases relating to the Google Calendar and its entries on the invoices. Please know that our team is working diligently to prioritize this issue. Rest assured that we’ll help you generate the date and events.

If you’ve tried all the possible troubleshooting solutions outlined by my colleague above, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. One of our representatives will pull up your account in a secure manner and investigate this issue further.

  1. Go to the Help icon.
  2. Select the Search tab and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern.
  4. Select either Start a chat or Get a callback.

I’ve included this article about modifying your sales forms, like invoices: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. This will walk you through adding specific data and improve your business' communications.

Once done, you’ll want to read about recording invoice payments in QuickBooks Online. It contains the instructions together with a short video that will guide you through receiving the payments to balance your accounts.

Know that you can continue reaching me here with any additional questions about invoices. I’ll be right here to assist you along the way. Take care.

I am experiencing the same issue. QB is unable to search my calendar from the app. Something similar happened a year or so ago and the support team was finally able to get it working again. Maybe something to do with the latest google updates? Please fix it, I have month end billing coming up next week...

I stepped away from the invoicing process for a few days due to the frustration - today, I went in to see if google calendar is working with QB and it is!!! No idea why, no explanation but it's working. 😊

We wanted to let you know that Google Calendar integration is unfortunately unavailable in QuickBooks, jarosplumber. As an alternative, you can use a third-party app to continue syncing your calendar with QuickBooks. It offers similar functionality and helps maintain your workflow.

Here are the steps to ensure you can integrate apps in QuickBooks:

  1. In your account, navigate to the left-hand menu, scroll down, and select Apps.

  2. In the QuickBooks App Store, use the search bar to look for calendar integration tools.
  3. Click Browse categories to see available options and choose one that fits your needs.

  4. Follow the prompts to install and connect the app to your QuickBooks account.

You can also visit the QuickBooks App Store for reference.

Here’s a useful resource you can access to help you adjust your sales forms, such as invoices. To begin, visit this link: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

The QuickBooks team is committed to ensuring your experience is seamless and uninterrupted. If you have additional questions regarding app integrations or require more assistance with QuickBooks Online, feel free to use the comment section. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we truly care about it.

Is this a temporary problem that is being worked on?? I have scheduled ALL of my appointments through quickbooks/googlecalender integration for the last four years and this is highly disruptive and inconvenient! Why would they simply make integration unavailable?? Makes no sense...
