New invoice style

Can you make the new invoice style a recurring invoice like you could do in the past? I have always been able to go to the bottom of the invoice and select make recurring. I cannot find that option. Thank you

QuickBooks Online releases the new invoice layout for a better experience for everyone. However, the option to convert a new invoice layout into a recurring invoice isn't currently available. Rest assured, I can help you with a workaround to a recurring invoice transaction that you can access from the new invoice layout. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open or create an Invoice.
  2. Click Manage, then select the Automation tab.
  3. Click the Recurring invoice.
  4. Fill in the necessary details to the recurring invoice template.
  5. Click Save template.
