No one on my 1099 list has received their 1099 via email or usps mail even though the QB system is saying they all went out on 1/23/24. How do I confirm this was done?

QuickBooks typically waits until January 31st to send out the 1099s because this is the deadline set by the IRS for distributing forms to vendors or contractors. Furthermore, QuickBooks may still need time to process the information to ensure everything is accurate before dispatching them.

 

Since you mentioned that the system says they all went out, I suggest contacting our payroll support for confirmation and the most accurate information regarding when the emails containing the 1099 forms will be sent out to your contractors.

 

Here are the steps to connect with us:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab, then click Contact Us.
  4. Enter your brief concern in the field.
  5. Tap Continue.
  6. Click the Chat or Callback option.
