No way to search or sort products and services by VENDOR field?

Count us as yet another very unhappy customer who did things mostly fine with the desktop version for years and years before we got SCREWED into switching to the "improved" online version. Take this little gem we just discovered:

Sitting at the "Products and services" page, where we have our 4000+ products (of which it doesn't display the totals or more than 300 anymore) and you'd think we could sort the list by "Vendor" or at least search for something by the Vendor field, right? NOPE... Not available anymore.

So once again, something SO SO BASIC that used to work fine, and probably millions of people depended on daily, isn't available. And before anyone suggests it - We aren't interested in having to run a report to get this basic information that used to be at our fingertips. Just like the STUPID 2 year transaction search limitation, we aren't buying your "some people had performance issues" horse$hit excuse. If we're paying you $250/mo to host this crap that used to run spectacularly on our PAID FOR servers, it better cough up the search results we expect, and lickedy split.

I understand how you feel when features that were once readily available no longer meet your needs, charley.

 

Your feedback is valuable. I suggest sending your feedback directly to the software engineer. It's a good way to express your thoughts and share on how the unavailability of this option impacted your workflow.

 

By sharing your experiences and concerns, it'll contribute to the improvement of the software. To do it, log in to your QBO account. Then, select Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.

 

While I understand your preference for not wanting to run a report to obtain the required information, I would still recommend considering this option whenever you find yourself in need of the information.

This has apparently been a complaint for several years and nothing is done, so I'm not going to waste my breath telling telling them something they should already be very aware of. 

 

The larger problem is the fact that your company produced a product that was supposed to be superior in functionality, but in reality is the opposite - and it costs more, has worse support, and no way out for the people like us who have all been LIED to.
