Not able to add a contractor to track time. They keep getting errors saying they need to contact quickbooks admin.

I can share information about managing users in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QuickBooks, the Time Tracking Only user is suitable for employees or vendors who need to track time. They can only enter timesheets for themselves and only have access to timesheets and time reports.

Also, this user role isn't available to QBO accounts that are connected to QuickBooks Time. The time-tracking-only user role is removed when QuickBooks Time is integrated.

In case you need to change the Time Tracking Only user, you'll have to delete the user and add them back again with the new user type.

Furthermore, since the user is unable to log in to QBO or QB Time, I suggest reaching out to your QuickBooks admin as to why they're unable to log in to your QuickBooks account.
