In November our online QuickBooks account was hacked!!!!! Whom ever got into the account managed to write over $100,000.00 in checks out directly from our account. We spent hours on the phone and on emails writing QuickBooks to advise them of the issue. Only to get the run around and continuously be told our situation would be escalated and we would hear back from someone shortly. It is now 12/13/2023 and still not one response from this company. We have changed passwords switched bank accounts, done the whole nine yards. Very unhappy. But with over 10 years of info in their system its hard to go somewhere else. Now this month all of our stuff has been changed with what they say is an update. and I have to dig deep into the system to find new estimates and clients entered in over the last 2 days and cannot enter internal memos. This is just pure garbage. How can I run a company when this company cannot keep there stuff together themselves. I called yet again this morning to get the same darn run around and I am over it!!!!!! I want to speak to a supervisor and it is impossible!!!!! I will be taking other measures if I do not hear from a superior today!!!!

Moreover, I'll share this article to protect your account against security risks: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

You can convert your data to a QB Desktop file format and use the trial version to access your historical data for good. Then you will start from scratch in a new accounting app to lower your conversion costs.
