Question

Online for Mac vs Online for Windows

I have a client that uses QBO for Mac, when I logged in from windows I can't see any of their transactions.  Although I have bank statements and know they use QBO to print checks.

Is there a reason I can't access online from windows when she uses a Mac?

Hi there, laurie29112.

I'm here to help ensure you can view your client's transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Are you using a web browser when accessing your client's QBO account? If so, regardless of the operating system (OS), you should be able to see their bank transactions as long as you're in the correct company file.

To check if the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies) causing this unusual response, sign in to QBO using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).
  •  Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

Once logged in, go back to the Banking page to check if you can now see your client's bank transactions.

If they're showing, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Moreover, I'll add these articles that tackle managing bank transactions in QBO for future reference:

Please let me know if you have follow-up questions about this or anything else. I'll be here to assist. Take care.
