Prevent edits to products and services

Welcome to the Community thread, sboulder. Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand the importance of using QuickBooks effectively and are grateful that you have chosen QuickBooks Online as your partner in managing your business operations.

We are happy to inform you that you can create or add a user role that restricts access to Products and Services and only allows the user to add, edit, and delete invoices. Here are the steps:

1. Click on the Gear icon and select Manage Users.
2. Go to the Roles tab.
3. Tap on the Add role option.
4. Enter the Role name and description.
5. In the Sales section, tick the Invoices box.
6. Scroll down and hit on Save Role.
7. Go to the Users tab and click on the Add User button.
8. Enter the user's name and email.
9. Choose the Invoice-only role that you created from the Roles dropdown.
10. Select on Send invitation.

Please ensure that you are the primary admin so you can send the invitation to the respective user.
