Price Rules and Weekly Timesheets

Hello!

I am utilizing Weekly Timesheets and have the team setup as enter time only users.  I have setup all of the price rules for all of our clients and added all of our projects to them.  When working on the Weekly Timesheet screen, sometimes the rates port over and sometimes they do not.

Is anybody else having this problem or know what I can do to fix it?

I'm here to help ensure that everything is configured correctly so that the rates automatically carry over to your weekly time screen as intended, Kristal.

First, let's review each service item and ensure that the correct price rules are set. This will help us make sure that all pricing details are accurate.

  1. Click on the Gear icon and choose Products and Services.
  2. Find each service item listed.
  3. Verify that the pricing and price rules are correctly established for each item.

After confirming that everything is set up correctly, I recommend having the team members you've set up perform some browser troubleshooting steps. This is to ensure that any latency issues are addressed, as they can sometimes be related to browser performance.

I'm sharing this article for additional details about setting up price rules: Set price rules in QuickBooks Online

Additionally, you can monitor the time spent on activities for each customer by generating the Time Activities by Customer Detail report. This tool provides a detailed view of time allocation per customer.

If you need further assistance with setting up price rates or have any other questions, feel free to reach out, Kristal. I'm here to help make that process as smooth as possible.
