printing checks with microsoft edge

problems aligning intuit checks using microsoft edge. already turned off extensions so adobe opens up checks before printing. go back to using firefox? thanks

QuickBooks Online supports multiple browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. Thus, QuickBooks supports the two versions of browsers you mentioned. 

 

In this case, would you mind attempting to do this in your Firefox or Chrome? You can also try printing your checks using a private browser. This way, we can verify if the issue you’re experiencing is browser-related. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache so QuickBooks will perform efficiently.

 

If the issue persists, let’s load some blank paper into your printer for your test prints. This way, you won’t waste actual checks when adjusting the check alignment.

 

  1. Select + New.
  2. Select Print checks.
  3. Select Print setup.
  4. Select your check type, voucher, or standard.
  5. Select View preview and print sample. Then select Print.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
  7. Put the sample print under a blank check. See if they line up correctly.

Aside from that, it would also best to update Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or repair your Adobe installation. This fixes most printing problems in QuickBooks Online.

QB Online says it's best to use Adobe reader for printing checks.  I downloaded Adobe Reader (AR), and it didn't  fix the printing problem (alignment is off).  Adobe troubleshooting says Microsoft edge doesn't support AR.  How can I fix my printer alignment problem?

As my colleague mentioned, QuickBooks Online supports multiple browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. In general, QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers.
