PRINTING REPORT DOES NOT COMPLETE

I need a simple fix,   a few months ago the last 3 or 4 checks do not actually print even though QB thinks they printed.    Printer is same printer,  nothing changed but an update to QB.

To begin with, you can try running the QuickBooks Print & Print Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This tool is designed to fix common errors. Before using it, make sure you close QuickBooks. For the best experience, it is recommended to use the Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit.

 

Next, you can proceed to run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool by following these steps: 

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Tool Hub and select Program Problems.
  2. Select QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool and wait for it to complete running.
  3. Print, email, or save as a PDF from QuickBooks Desktop again.

 

If the above steps don't resolve the issue, I suggest restarting your computer and then try again. However, if the issue still persists, I recommend resetting your temp folder permissions by following these steps: 

 

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the RUN command.
  2. Type %TEMP% and press Enter.
  3. Right-click an empty area of the temp folder and select Properties.
  4. Click on the Security tab.
  5.  Ensure that all user names and groups in Security have Full Control.
  6. Once the permissions have been set to Full Control, save it as a PDF again in QuickBooks.
