QB 2024 keeps generating a H202 error when attempting to switch from Single User to Multi User
We run QB on its own Win10 pro "server" and our bookkeeper accesses it from her Win10 pro workstation. We have two company databases she accesses. Suddenly this morning on the main company database she is having an issue switching out of Single User mode. When she tries she gets the H202 error. I've tried all the common fixes. Whats weird is the mode switching works fine when she is in the other database. Also I am able to switch between modes with no problem on both databases when I sign into QB directly on the server and do it. So it indeed seems to be only when accessing the database over the network.
I have run the Quickbooks Program Diagnostic tool from the QB Tool Hub on her computer as well as running the Database Manager Scan on the server. All the services related to the database manager are running. But nothing has resolved the problem. She can use QB fine but she is stuck in Single User when in the main company database. Any ideas?
