QB Desktop Accountant 2024 latest release R14P-memorized reports not displaying correctly again

I updated unwillingly to latest update to my subscription of QB Accountant Desktop Plus 2024.  It was R14P.  When I opened up my memorized report list and one of my memorized reports, the report did not display the correct fields just like in February 2025.  I did the suggested fix the first time to put all the incorrect reports into a separate report group called -"Z Do Not Use".  There are over 50 reports in there and some of them were just ones that came standard with QuickBooks.  I recreated the ones I needed which took a long time, since I've been using QB for 29 years and have had some payroll reports memorized from company to company.  Now the reports are messed up again.  Columns are not displaying and there are columns that normally wouldn't be in that type of report.  Now I have to do it all again?  What is going on with the updates?

I recognize how challenging it can be to face issues with your memorized reports, JAC365. Based on the information you provided, It appears that you have already ensured that your QBDT version is updated to release R13_50 or above. If you haven't yet, we can proceed by running the verify and rebuild processes.

The initial step we can take is to re-sort the Memorized Reports list. Here's the procedure:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu, choose Memorized Reports, and then click on Memorized Reports List
  2. Proceed to select Re-sort List under Memorized Reports.
  3. When prompted with "Are you sure you want to return this list to its original order?" click OK.

Next, execute the Rebuild Utility, which is designed to repair transactions and list damages in your company file, (though it is limited to fixing specific issues it's programmed to address).

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the File menu, select Utilities, and choose Rebuild Data.
  2. If a warning message appears you to back up your company file, and click OK
  3. While the rebuild is in progress, your computer might show a message that QuickBooks is not responding. However, If your mouse is still moving. Allow the process to continue.
  4. Click OK when you see the message that the Rebuild has been completed
  5. After that, run Verify Data to check for any remaining data damage. If the second verification fails, move on to Step 3.

Lastly, utilize the QBWin.log to identify and rectify any data damage.

If you continue to face issues, I recommend contacting our live support team to have this further reviewed.
