QB Desktop Enterprise marketing

I keep getting a marketing pop-up for QB Desktop Enterprise and it gives you two choices - Maybe Later and Find Out More.  But nothing happens when you click on Maybe Later.  And there's no X so you can't get it off your screen unless you log out completely then log back in.  Super annoying.  Anyone else having this issue or have a resolution?

@gmerriam64  It seems to be happening across all Desktop products.

Aside from relogging, it will eventually accept Maybe Later; could be 10 minutes, could be hours.

That's pretty much it, as far as I can tell. At this point, I'd consider paying $100 just to be able to remove the Discovery Hub from my installation entirely.

I understand that we don't want interruptions while navigating the software, gmerriam64. We can turn off the pop-up messages for products and services in the Preferences section. I'll provide the steps below.

  1. Go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Select the General menu.
  3. From the My Preferences tab, click the Turn off pop-up messages for products and services box.
  4. Click OK.

Once done, restart QuickBooks for this change to take effect.

Clicking turn off Pop up messages in Settings does not stop the pop ups from Discovery Hub. They continue to pop up and half the time you are unable to close them. They cover up the left half of the screen and the only way to get rid of it is to close out of quckbooks all together and restart. Having to do that 12 times a day is ridiculous.
