My company uses Quickbooks Enterprise Manufacturing & Wholesale 23.0 and whenever we save use the Save as pdf option it creates a 3MB pdf which is huge for a single page document. The typical size of a single page pdf should be around 200 kb.

How can I modify the save to pdf settings so that it will reduce the file size of the saved pdf documents?

I understand that every company has different needs, kstewart. I've got information to share when utilizing the Save as PDF option to download documents from QuickBooks Desktop to your file.

It's a great idea to have this ability and setting preference that can help reduce the size of your file when downloading.

Since this action is exported to your computer data, minimizing the file capacity can manually be done outside of QuickBooks Desktop. We don't have the capability to modify its file size setting within the program. With this, you may consider looking for third-party applications that can help you condense the size of the downloaded PDF file.

In case you want to transfer or convert data entries and lists from your desktop account, here's how to import or export information in QBDT.

Just keep me posted in this forum whenever you require further assistance managing your data. I'll be around to help address any of your queries. Keep safe, and have a good one!
