QB online-Work orders

Hello, I would like to create a "work order" for a vendor.  I am not purchasing any goods from them therefore I don't think that using a Purchase Order function is appropriate in this situation.  My goal is to be able to track this work's progress.  I welcome suggestions on how others might deal with this situation. Thank you!

It's good to see you here in the Community, @Rauchelle.

At this time, QuickBooks Online (QBO) only allows you to create a purchase order (PO).

I know that you won't purchase any goods from your vendor. However, you can select a service item when creating a PO to track the work's progress as a workaround.

While creating a work order is currently unavailable, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion further and consider adding this option in future updates.

To submit feedback, you can go to the Gear icon and select Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.
