QB Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2021 freezing

QB will freeze if the program is not used within an hour time. New computer, Windows 11, Clean Instation of both Windows 11 and QB Premier 2021 (also reinstalled QB a few times [tried different versions]).  Checked hardware, had the company file checked by Intiuit Data Service, and check all software. Removed all unnecessary software.  Moved the company file to Windows 10 on a different computer and had no problems with it working in Windows 10.  Had an Intuit Specialist who remoted in for 12 hours trying to solve the issue and was not able to.  I have done everything that Intuit support has suggested with no luck.  What the heck is making QP freeze when the program is not being used?  This all started in May/June 2023.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks...

How big is your file size?

Did you encounter the same issue when running other QB Desktop year versions? (i.e 2022-2023)?

I tried to get a straight answer from Intuit on the size to not go over!  I can do an F2 to go to the product information screen.  If you tell me where on that screen to look for I can get that info to you tomorrow once I get back into the office, thanks...

I appreciate you returning to the thread and sharing what you did to fix your concern. This isn't also the kind of service I want you to receive from QuickBooks support. With this, let me point you to the right support team so that you can be assisted right away.

Please know that our QuickBooks Support is only available M-F 6 AM to 6 PM. I suggest contacting our QBDT support again and scheduling a callback. They have the tools to investigate why your QBDT freezes when the program is not utilized.

Additionally, hours exclude occasional downtime due to system and server maintenance, company events, observed U.S. holidays, and events beyond our control. You may refer to this article for extra details: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.

On the other hand, you can see the attached screenshot below, where you can find the company's file size.

Lastly, refer to this article if you need different troubleshooting steps to resolve issues that cause QuickBooks Desktop to stop working: Fix issues when QuickBooks has stopped working.

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately, Intuit has not been helpful.  First, the program is supposed to be supported until May 2024.  The last time talked with support, they would not support QB Premier 2021 and hung up on me.  And then, when I went back to the "help center" to get a call back from support, they would not call me.  I've been a QB customer since 2003.  I do not like to be treated with this type of disrespect or the lack of support that I require.  I am a very unable customer.  It appears that Intuit has lost sight of its customers -- because without customers they would not be in business.  I'm a business owner and have been 48 years, and I rely on this program to conduct our daily business. And now my business is suffering because of the program that is not working correctly.   Intuit has let me down!
