Question

QBO System performance

Does anybody have any tips for improving QBO performance? I have done all the typical things like switching browsers, clearing cookies and other browser data. All I get is spinning wheels, even when I try to log out. In addition, my bank transaction comes up blank, except for the account summary boxes.

Yes!  The system failure issues you are sharing I have been experiencing yesterday and today.  There is no support, and all loading pages (including this one to reply to your message) is dragging a lot.  Here are the error codes:  Error code: RESULT_CODE_HUNG
Error code: Out of Memory

I have also troubleshoot using the guidelines here:  https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95669?visit_id=63[removed]523023-[removed]&p=e_awsnap&rd=1

@spalomino18  ...Did the community auto-scrubber just break your link with censorship?

No, I don't think so.

I have been a QuickBooks Online user since 2009 and I don't think I have ever encountered the kind of issues OP is describing.  Something else is really clogging or creating issues that has nothing to do with us.  The frustrating part is that the QuickBooks status detector is showing zero reported incidents, issues and that is totally inaccurate!  Link:  https://status.quickbooks.intuit.com/

How do we at the very least, collectively report issues!

No, there is no way for users to improve QBO's reliability or terrible performance (extreme lack of speed) because all of the issues are on the servers and Intuit controls the servers.  And they are either to cheap or too incompetent to make them fast.

Sure, they will blame your browser, and sometimes manually clearing the QBO's cache will improve things for short period, but even the cache issues are design issues. QBO could clear its own cache each time you log in, or periodically while you are logged in, but Intuit has so far refused to implement any sort of cache management.

Users should not have to know how to manage the inner workings of their browsers to make QBO work.

They've had about 25 years to make QBO decent, or even good. So far they haven't bothered. Do you think they will sometime soon? I don't.

Thank you. I thought it was only me. I have used it for 8 years now, and I am ready to throw it in the river. I wonder if anyone has tried converting to Xero to Freshbooks?
