can someone tell me why, sometime when i am inputting data to invoices the fields are blank and i have to exit program and star over

I understand how time-consuming it is to record and track invoices when experiencing any challenges in QuickBooks Online. When the browser is full of out-of-date pages, the system occasionally behaves strangely. These were also corrupted, resulting in issues such as blank fields when entering data. To isolate the problem, I recommend performing basic troubleshooting steps.

 

Let's sign in to your QBO first in a private window. The following are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

 

Once you're in, record your invoice again. If it's successful, return to your regular browser and clear the cache to start afresh. We can also utilize other supported browsers if the same issue occurs. The one you're using now may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks Online.
