Question

Quickbook online app for PC never connects, it just shows the wheel. My Mac version works with no issues. I have tried uninstall/reinstall but it didn't help. Ideas?

Hello there, @ROC Vox.

I'll help you resolve the issue of not able to use the QuickBooks Online app.

Desktop app is available in QBO Accountants, new and existing QuickBooks Online Advanced customers. You need to have Windows 64-bit computer.

To have a better experience using QuickBooks, you can use supported web browsers.

The following browsers are supported on both web and mobile devices:

  • Google Chrome: version 78 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer
  • Microsoft Edge: version 75 or newer
  • Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only)
  • Opera: version 68 or newer
  • Samsung: version 10 or newer

For more details on why this change occurred, you can visit the article: QuickBooks Online Mac and Windows Desktop App update.

If you have all the requirements, I recommend reaching our Customer Care team since you already uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
