Question

Quickbooks added check which didnt print so I deleted it but check register off by a #. How do I change that? Eg when I try to print check it says # 2702 but Im on #2701

I've got here the steps to help you get your check numbers back in order.

 

If you're on the Write check page, you can simply uncheck Print later. This way, you can manually write your desired check number. Then, your next checks will automatically follow the next number in order.

 

However, you can just input the appropriate number in the Starting check no. field if you're on the Print checks page. Just ensure that your deleted check is the first on the list. Then, your next check numbers should follow in the register.
