Are there any options for Accountants to efile 1099s for multiple clients in Quickbooks dekstop? From what I read about Quickbooks Contractor, you have to setup a separate account for each business which would be too difficult. I need less than 50 forms and I'm tired of paying for Quick Employer Forms.

E-filing 1099s for multiple clients in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) can be a significant time-saver for accountants. However, there's no built-in functionality that allows them to electronically file 1099 forms within the program, kgalland. You'll need to transfer the forms to Tax1099 for e-filing. I'll explain how it works in more detail.

The software facilitates the preparation of 1099s by allowing users to input and organize the necessary information. As a result, once the forms are generated within QuickBooks, select the E-file button to follow the onscreen steps to import your data to our partner Tax1099 to e-file.

For more assistance, you can refer to Tax1099 articles that provide information about importing through the Web Connector or the Plugin.

You can also visit this article for more comprehensive information: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop.
