QUICKBOOKS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!!

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET SUPPORT ON THE QB BACKUPS FOR MONTHS!!  WE HAVE SPENT OVER 6 MONTHS AND DOZENS OF SUPPORT AND INVESTIGATION TICKETS (INV-102963 WAS THE LATEST).  NO RESOLUTION!

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN YEARS!

  • THE SUPPORT PERSONNEL WERE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE TOPIC
  • WE HAVE BEEN HUNG UP ON REPEATEDLY WHILE ON HOLD
  • NOT RESPONSES TO OUR EMAIL INQUIRIES FOR PROGRESS UPDATES AS PROMISSED.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE USE THE QBO BACKUP.  IT JUST DOES NOT WORK.

I hear your sentiments, DGILES1. We understand that the backup issue has caused inconvenience. Please know that this isn't the experience we want you to have.

Please know that we always strive to provide a seamless experience for QuickBooks users. Our software engineers are actively working on resolving the problem, and we will notify you as soon as we have an update.

In the meantime, we suggest you export your data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) and save it to your local hard drive to prevent potential data loss. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Export data.
  2. Set the date range on the Reports tab.
  3. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs as needed.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

You can also export non-posting information that isn't included in Reports and Lists. Read this reference: Export non-posting transactions and attachments.

Moreover, you'll want to consider looking for a third-party app to integrate with QBO for backing up your files.

Check out this article to learn what data you can bring to QuickBooks Online moving forward: Import data from other software into QuickBooks Online.

Should you have additional questions about managing your data within the program, kindly return to the Community space anytime. I'll be willing to lend a hand. Keep safe.

Then why it is the one you deliver?
