Quickbooks Desktop 2020

Hi all. I just got notice that my version will not be support past May and that some features will be discontinued. I only use the program to generate invoices, send via email through quickbooks and post payment of those invoices when payment is received, that's all. Do I need to upgrade?., I don't want to purchase the online version of purchase a monthly subscription.

I see how QuickBooks Desktop 2020 useful in your daily business operations. 

 

Allow me to give you insights about the QBDT service discontinuation and helpful info about moving to QuickBooks Online.

 

If you don't use any add-on services in QBDT 2020 examples are QB Payments, Time, Payroll, etc. Your product will continue to work for you.

 

But, you won't be able to subscribe to live technical support or any other Intuit services that can be integrated with QBDT. Also, receiving the latest security patches and updates will stop.

It was advised to move to QuickBooks Online, since it offer features such as automatic bank account updates and the ability to access your books anywhere you have internet access.
