Quickbooks desktop backup confirmation emails

Hello, I checked all the boxes indicating that I want to receive an email everyday on whether or not Quickbooks backs up successfully or not.  I have never received an email.  I checked spam.  Any idea why I don't get confirmation emails after each backup?

    In QuickBooks Desktop, regular updates to your company file ensures latest fixes and enhancements to the program. Thus, it's best to verify your account is on its latest release.

     

    Since spam and junk folders doesn't contain any of the confirmation emails, you can review and verify the email address associated to ensure these messages are timely received. If need be, you can update your email information in your account.

     

    Additionally, if f your account's email address is accurate and you've set up Intuit Data Protect to back up these files, I recommend checking your device's firewall settings and ensuring antivirus programs aren't blocking your access, as these factors affects the delivery of data messages.

     

    If so, you can change your settings to allow these emails. To do this:

     

    1. Click your Windows key and type Firewall.
    2. Choose Allow an app through Windows Firewall, then Allow another app.
    3. Go to Browse, then Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Intuit\Data Protect.
    4. Navigate to QBIDPservice.exe, then Open.
    5. Pick the Network types and tick the Private checkbox, then Select Add.
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the files IBUenghost.exe and IntuitDataProtect.exe.

    Thanks for trying to help. I did all these steps and still no luck. I really need these emails to make sure the system backs up everyday. Very frustrating!
