Do I need to be concerned with the discontinuation of support for QB Pro 2019?  I only use this on my desktop for bank register reconciliations.  I do print year end reports.  Otherwise I do not do online backups, banking etc.  Will this program still work?

No need to be concerned, @LMH3.

With the discontinuation for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2019, you no longer have access to our support and services. Rest assured your QBDT will still work for you.

You can also check out this article for more details about this: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.

To ensure you'll enjoy all the benefits and services that QuickBooks offers, you might want to upgrade to the newest version.

Furthermore, I got you these resources that can guide you reconciling your accounts and printing your reports in QBDT:

I'll be around whenever you need assistance reconciling your accounts or with your QBDT. Have a dazzling day ahead!

Thank You for such a prompt response.  I will consider upgrading in the future, but for now this is a small art shop and business...well...you know the whine!

Thanks

How complicated is it to transfer my data from 2019 Desktop Pro to any of the 2023 online versions?

Hi there, jodyv.

Moving from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online isn't complicated at all. To have a smooth transition, ensure to have the latest QuickBooks Desktop file. I'm here to share more information about it.

Since you have the 2019 version, you can use our trial version to convert it to the latest one. Just a heads up, the target limit for the file to be converted is 750,000. For the detailed steps of the process, you can check this reference: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

I've also added this article on what to do after moving to QuickBooks Online: What to do after you move from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows or Mac to QuickBooks Online.

You can always reach out to us whenever you need help converting the data.
